Through tall grasses golden,
paper hissing in breezes.
Hearts spirit to embolden,
natures weather capriciously teases.

Freedom whispered to the wind,
flying through pearly light.
Natures call echoes within to find,
dreams of love irradiant bright.

Search and you shall see,
me chanting a credo to your love.
Waiting for sofest heart to hear me,
borealis sidewinding high above.

''As the deer pants for steams of water, so my soul pants for you O God''
Psalm 42:1

I LOVE love poetry - and this is so ethereal and enchanting...This is the best that I've read from you thus far

Melissa~

Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world!

Very well done. I really like the stanza:

Freedom whispered to the wind,
flying through pearly light.
Natures call echoes within to find,
dreams of love irradiant bright
