Neil Armstrong
billionth
boy on the moon

reached her
on tides
of longing
and physics

touched her
through his
full body
prophylactic

returned
to earth
to stare
at her
from a rock-
ing chair
somewhere
between
a memory
and an epitaph

moaning
she was
everything to me
I was
nothing to her

GAWD, I love the images, phrases, power, & subtle sarcasm in this.  You're very versatile in your expression - it seems like you can write about ANY topic, even the mundane or over used topics - and yet you make them your own and add a creative new twist to them.  Please never stop writing!

You humble me with your talent - you make it look so easy, even though I know it's not!

Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world!

What a picture you paint!  I especially love:

somewhere
between
a memory
and an epitaph
