LILY CREEK

this morning,
after a night
of unexpected cold,
the geese
walked
on the water
where yesterday
they swam
and fed

they looked
at each other
the way the disciples
must have looked at Christ
when he skated
Galilee

An amusing and charming write. Having an observant eye is a great asset for a poet!

Wow - What awesome imagery!  Your use of 'religious' themes are powerful.

forgotten memories begining to form, morphed and shaped they shatter only to be reborn and repieced
