They put an advert in the UK on the channels for a Jazz guy drinking bottled beer.

He drank in a pub in Wandsworth as I did, the only difference, he didn't pay, and he said 'he gone off and become, because he couldn't get the work, a Government Barrister'.

Silver Note is for him, if he is alive and blowing the horn.

The other is for Johnney.

Dave

Silver Note

A silver note
Creating your ability
To see
Dancing in your eyes
Rubbing that itch
You can not reach

Echoing a vision
Seeking it’s end
Dancing in the sunlight
Journey, destination, challenge
Sideways in
Before you know
Kissing every crystal
Moon
Of it’s delight

Johnney

John married the daughter of a famous English Comedy guy

I met Johnney and talked to him a lot.

Because he couldn't keep his turnstile in the plus, I'd go and get the turnstile back in credit.

He invited me back to his place in Brixton and we sat and toasted bread over a gas fire, while he worried whether he would have the money to have any heating tomorrow or the minimum of life that he had become used to in a room with one other room

Johnney always blamed himself for the crash and what happened, but at least we now stop people driving without large amounts of sleep.

He lost his wife and child because he was a Stage Manager - last out, first in, and he was travelling down from Newcastle.

I didn't write for this Johnney, I wrote them for the fact, that if you try to stop, even now, letting some Manager stuff you, feeling they are ok and can get away with it, that they are wrong, because too many people are learning and their eyes arn't green.

Dave

********************************************
A shabby coat, a soaken man
A rail he leans against
His home is nothing
His thoughts are gone His shelter is the fence
He has no where to go
And no where I can take him
He wouldn't trust me if I tried I wouldn't try to force him
I knew a man who once was sick
When passing a drinks cabinet
He fought for goodness all his life
And then he didn't make it
I like the rain
nd feeling safe I like to feel, I feel
But this is beyond us all It needs some kind of deal
Help them, help themselves
But not by extreme dogma
Help them by the volunteers
But help them
Don't just log them

You write so intensely about these life stories, there is the pain of existence, when dreams do not realize or are suddenly erased.
You know the human fragility well and you write well about it.

Silver Notes leave an aching echo.

Margherita

I dont know any other way to write.

If I didn't care about it intensely, I wouldn't be on the site

I do really miss words I write at times that will never be heard or treated as the fact, that I have somehow 'failed on a day job'

Thanks

quietly reflecting
too many Johnneys
a sad tale, Dave

music must speak for itself
not be managed to death

I know Midnight

Was it just that time that I hung from

I knew as the air changed

For it was just to be there

Midnight I lost those words

That moment

That produced

Tiger Woman

I think I need to start concentrating

On words

Because at 57

Even with my just doing a technology upgrade on a 52000 (noughts are exact) payroll for ATG

I am struggling to get work in IT

I wouldn't mind if they were competent and disciplined to

understand

Poetry
