Spontaneity and Grace

As sudden, and as easy, as the rain
We play, warm energy to spray
…In fountains forth
Southbound jesters warbled north
More to treasure
Simple pleasure
Lasting pictures paint
…Our hearts, without words

We are nearer, mirrors of an open affection
Leaving cue askew, but in the same direction
We have become it seems, subtle streams
Holding hands in jubilance such vivid dreams

Moving room by room within
Scheming with delight, fawning pillow fight
Never holding back
…A first thought second
As passion is free form art
Loving falls seeking quench
Two hand scooped
…And shower drench

A miracle of miracles in every way
Sound and sudden to display
As sudden, and as easy, as the rain
We play, within each moment, giving way

Keep going,  the chord is nigh...the pen
is poised and the mind is filled with so
much, awaiting release.  watch out for
sticky hands and steering wheels....
Use your tongue to signal a turn if need
be.

...miracle of miracles...

~*~

I'll bet you don't remember
the song, or the play...

or do you?

Thanks for the lovely comments all.

Smiling at Sunshine...My parents loved music, and the line you selected is a familiar one, but I can't say I can remember the song or the play.

Hugs,
TD
