So many are now shooting down the road
Listening to the radio tuned loud
Pushing the pedal and faster to goad
Forgotten the ways of wise and the proud
Gifts of the angels were given away
Buy long lives without living awake
Now fools sell thoughts so that life is a today
A fast moving world that lives a mistake
No time for relaxing or thinking deep
We must do business and get it done quick
How did this sad living happen to creep?
Our fathers worked hard to see that we stick
Though just the cause it’s caused such a culture
Causing the kids to act like the vultures

definitely true...grandparents and parents  worked long hard hours to bring about laws and allow us more time to relax...and it seems to be in reverse now. Though some of it is caused by the "wantings" and "I have to have it now" generations.
