Is it better to tell your love to her?
For would she turn and walk away I fear
Such doubts that fill my mind have so disturbed
That lull that she has pulled with so near
I am only halfway to paradise
And one man, one boy of joinery hath she
He lulled her as she lulled me so I cry
For no truer a love for one can be
Then mine for her in endless times that talk
If I would tell her time has stopped from you
Would we ‘ever love and would we ‘ever walk
I’ve known some sidewalks that sell you the blues
But if love’s lost and never found in life
Loves better lost than fall apart with strife

I'd have to say that I really enjoyed this sonnet:One because I am probably the worst person to ask to write in form and two because it really touched me because this really described my first love and how I will always remember him.

I especially liked these lines,
"But if love’s lost and never found in life
Loves better lost than fall apart with strife "

Thanks for writing this piece.

oh, that ending
an ache deeper than any blues song
ever thought to go
