Everything is happening all to fast,
My haunts and fears creeping up from the past.
It's all coming back, I don't know what for
If I could make it stop by a hammer,
or a slam of a door.

Tears rush to my eyes,
I can no longer hide my disguise.
This mask has come undone,
it won't stay on.

I keep trying and trying
but can't let anyone see
this sad, feared, frightened girl
this real face that has been crying
starving and dieing.

I'll hide my head wishing
I was dead instead.
For to face another day
without my disguise,
the truth of my life and pain
will realized.

Not to them but to me
