With my darkling

0 posted 2006-05-18 11:42 AM

My darkling now, in sole control
of what is left of shattered soul
and what is left, in dieing breath
is not enough to make me whole

my will to change, my shot at hell
is gone now and my faith as well
my last prayer said, in waning breath
was save me from this darkling cell

my prayer was drowned, in empty wind
my madness whispers, "I'm your friend"
And what is left, in welcome death
is warm embrace, of darkling sin

I'm not sure he's father or son
or if he's real, or I'm alone
but comfort comes, with sighing breath
And I don't care if he has won

It's not like he has held a gun

I always wonder why anyone feels the need a gun

hands are faster if in range

if outside

then you're killing for strange

words and emotions do control

A politician on high

My soul
