I Awoke I awoke the cocoon of night By stroking of the dawn of light A palate full of colors bold Of blue and emerald and of gold And from each branch of crystal dew Waking wonders for my view A filigree of glories be A magic full of ecstasy It drew me in this mist of awe Like peeking into heavens door And as it touched me with its grace I felt the warmth of minds embrace It took me for a moment’s ride Into a place of eventide And there I felt that time stood still And I had paid my final bill But if you let your mind to stray All you‘ll see is mornings gray |

Morning Sy I liked the feel of this, the anticipation for the next line, the positive hop skip and jump of surprise and the sensation of joy, peace, respect for the greatness of simple things... especially this... It drew me in this mist of awe Like peeking into heavens door And as it touched me with its grace I felt the warmth of minds embrace loverly write!!!!! |
