This Spring Morning
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

I arose this spring morning,
just brimming with vigor.
Then traipsed to the dormers,
and there I did linger.

I threw open the windows
and while reaching up high,
I drank up the sunshine,
and I breathed in the sky.

Sleeping flowers were waking,
~They stretched and were yawning.
And their bright showy heads,
added color to dawning.

Their delicate fragrances,
filled the moist early air.
~Delightfully scenting
the spring morning fair.

Happy bluebirds were singing,
from the burgeoning trees.
And all through the gardens,
was the buzzing of bees.

Bright sunlight was dancing
on sparkling clean waters.
And fish leapt in circles,
among playful otters.

I arose this spring morning,
just brimming with vigor.
Then traipsed to the dormers,
And there I did linger.

“Happiness is a state of mind.
Think happy! ~ Be happy!”

Beautiful in words

In vision

I was going to say 'lovely'

Maybe the climate is getting through to me

And the 'Ladies'

Enchanting Nancy ~

It gives me a warm feeling to know that I was missed! Thank you for saying so! I had a couple of minor surgeries but all is well.

That was great news about Jessica coming home from the hospital!!!!

The sun is shining in through my window and I cannot help but feel optomistic about a full recovery for our Baby Jessica!

Nightshade ~

Chris! I've got goosebumps! I was choosing another photo to post of an English cottage with dormer windows facing a glorious garden ~ but at the last moment chose this one instead because she reminded me of someone ~ and I couldn't for the life of me figure out who it was! ~ It was both you and your sister Nancy! ~ and you both look like the photos I have seen of your mother! I now take this as your mother saying that Jessica is going to get through her health crisis!

Well shiver me timbers! The resemblance to the three of you is certainly uncanny!!! ~ Happy spring! lol

Nancy ~

I still have goosebumps! I was going to use another painting for this post but felt compelled to use this one because she looked so familiar to me!!!

As I mentioned in the reply that I just wrote to Chris, I think this is a good omen that Jessica is going to completely recover!!!

The sun is streaming through my window and I am extremely optimistic that all will be well!

Happy spring hugs and love,

(does happy dance) Yay! Oh Linda, I've missed your sun-shining presence here within the last couple of weeks, dearest friend, but as you always do, every time you come in and out of here you always bring a breath of sunshine to all our hearts and happy jovial limerick lattes and poetic parfets, yay! (giggles) Yay, now time to go outside and warble with the baby robins, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
