Collected like the rain
Sweet water sounds
Tumbling in ovals
Full circle rounds
Making waves
Day runs in wellspring
Sensing and seeking
Night stokes an ember

Somehow we remember
The glint of innocence
Colored in jasmine tease
Cotton sail on velvet please
Moving over ripple
Sipping silent thirst

Somehow tonight…

Warm water beads
Our passion pleads
Chiffon billows,
Bare to waist
Moaning willows,
Tender taste
Full flower sighs
From wither rise

Somehow tonight
Together lies
Esteem in fragrant
Fantasize

The rhyme, rhythm and assonance flow nature and the natural into a beautiful and tranquil yet tantalizing living image that lingers in the memory long after the end of the poem.

Moaning willows,
Tender taste
Full flower sighs
From wither rise

The whole poem is a treat, but the above lines are truly a masterpiece, imo.

Delicate, feminine and
oh, so seductive.
Beautiful TD.
