What Is Out There Anyways?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

What's really out there anyways?
What's the world busy searching for?
Does anyone really know what it is
or do they think they just want more?

Purpose.
Meaning.
Floating.
Careening.

It's all a hope chest,
dreams that don't come true,
to think what you're searching
is there searching you.

Happiness.
It's inside.
People wander
from their reside,
searching for?

What is more?

And I wonder now
in these passing days,
what is out there anyways?

.

I dont people want understand how their own egos work

You haven't changed apart from losing a partner

They haven't changed apart from being what they always were

You basically get stuffed because "you were one of them and now it needs' too more people to bore everyone to a natural 'exultation'

"Happiness.
It's inside."

So true passing shadows. This one is a little different for you. I like it a lot.

"what is out there anyways?"

The wonder is that we never really know what's around the next corner and that alone should keep us hopeful - "should" but doesn't always, I know. Believe me, I'd love to know what's out there as well.

Dixie, I love the changes I've seen in your poetry (not that I didn't always appreciate your writing -- it's that I see even more development...and I like it!).  *hugs*....jo

Yes, Dixie, it's inside that makes us happy with what we have.  However, there is a lot out there - we just have to see it - and the greatest things are in the smallest things.  There are only small things in the supposedly great things.

There is plenty out there to add happiness to our lives..but  first you need to open the windows, let the sun shine in and then step out the door and take a chance...that is the only way you will learn what is out there for you. We learn from failures and everyone has them eventually.

hugs

I guess whats "out there" depends on where one believes the fringes of the "you" ends.  No matter.    It was a wonderful write.

Dixie...I guess we will never know what's in store for us until it happens, then we have to grab a little piece of it and try to be satisfied in our own little world, cause that's all that matters is the happiness of our loved ones and our self. Go for the Gold metal...Paul

That was bad reply from me.

You didn'd deserve it.

I suppose someone of your talent to sound like that, provoked the wrong reaction in me.

Maybe I have come the cycle, and my last will be that cycle.

Michele, that was the best advice I've heard all week! Thanks

Laura, good to see you too

Dave, I'm wondering now if I got slapped in the face and didn't even know it? Have pity on my intellect, but I'll admit I don't comprehend most of what you write so I suppose your reply went straight over my head as well.

There are goals for us to reach for. That is what is out there. And, as we reach those goals, we will feel a peace and happiness within ourselves. Never, ever give up, my friend.
