Who is this I've become? I no longer recognize the solemn emeralds nor the kisses of a thousand angels that command my face. I am walking as empty as my life seems to be.... Anger and tears are all that keeps me company. Who is this I've become? A bass beat in a rythmic bore one... two... three... Neverending, is this the NEW me? A boring, lifeless hull traversing the land of sunshine and poppies only to be, unseen. unheard. Is this who I've become? Me? Only loveless. Loveless?Is that this feeling? Where have I GONE. But I cant be lost..totally. I woke up this morning with a smile a damn cant get enough real SMILE. Who is this I've become? Who are you to make ME smile? A slow decline into a perpetual frown is a curse for all to see. One... Two... Three... But to a brand new beat. |

Erica...Enjoyed the comparrision between the old and the new that you've become. Sounds like a battle between what you really are and what you think you are and you're hiding behind that frown. Oh, LOL, on any given day? I see someone I don't recognize in the mirror. But that's a whole 'nother scary story when you get to facing wrinkles merging together.  You have LOTS of changing times ahead. Enjoy.  |
