Somehow I knew—knew of it all.
Beneath the sun we all hath dried
these quivering lost their senses.
Somehow I knew—It was not I nor thou
what earthly things hath wilted to a halt--
the wildest thoughts hast become a rare sight.
Spirit of flesh O how thee bled unto th’ after-ness--
what voice shall wield the knowledge of my words
when I alone am gone, No more to be.
Who shall learn the brush-strokes of this mind--
the stars hath learnt perfection
from a never-changing form what beauty cannot touch.

No neither thou can know my words
Somehow I knew—in death should I be known.
Can thou descend the banks of my memories--
and walk o’er others knowingly
what waters shed be tears what rivers be rivers thee knows.
Thy pen is held wrong for I hold no pen--
thy mind is made wrong for my mind is but my own
who envy’s this poet shall ne’er know of heartache.
Am I but a traveller roaming through experience--
be not like me nor like the old be more like thou

Somehow I knew—Thou would never put me down.
And many awaking thoughts hath been others
the stone hast fallen off the cliff in my place.
What ripples shall be whole new worlds--
Somehow I knew—passion still holds me
am I not ready to pass on my knowledge
to the next of my kind nor am I to thee.
The stars hath learnt perfection--
from a never-changing form what beauty cannot touch
Somehow I knew—knew of it all.

all the things we thought we knew were our pleasures, our beauties, our bounty, seem to unfold new meanings when they come clearly visable to the soul....

this was lovely

I am always astounded that your words are not read more, as they are very profound and in perfect rhyme.  Well done!
