Eliminate the pronouns and
just cleave a figure of infinity
upon a pond of ice and leave
as one lone skater
eats the eights
and drowns
without a rail...

perfect function poetry

and snow
is all the evidence
upon a pond of ice and leaves
are frozen
in the silences
until the young boy on the skates

casts his bait in spring

catching more than sticks and weights

astonished

by his lack of bait;

he'd used a piece of gum.

I confess I have an ideal of what this might be about but I can't be sure...

I am thinking spring might produce things never intended?

you don't even need adjectives or pronouns
just a few sparse words from you,
and it's gourmet food for thought

Hey! Don't mind me I am just following Kacey around this morning. You wonder why I don't bother to write anymore? This is why, you have more to say in a few lines than I can come up with in an epic novel.
