Polling on a River

Polling down the river of life
I found for me a lovely wife
It’s then we polled the river in mime
And shared our plight a goodly time

On the way we had three young
And stopped on shore to add more rung
It’s then the boat became a ship
The rivers flow a harder trip

Now time and change must have their say
And had to stop once more one day
Helped them build their boats to poll
And on they went to reach their goal

We sold our ship and bought a boat
A safe and goodly one that float
And now that we have time to spend
I think about the rivers end

Somehow I think there’ll be a bend
But cannot really see an end

Our rivers wild will twist and bend
oft with rapids before the end,
Oh, Captain, but your ship and soul,
in currents deep and far from shoal
doth sail on heart's infinite tide
where spirit and love of life abide!

Can you tell... I am Sy-ing!

Dear "See More,"

I see you have written our story, too. Thanks!  O yes, keep your life jackets on!
