Did I write in fair comment
do I write in the drunken state
did I write and remember
before the dead faint
truncates

Do I have an idea
did I have more than thought

Did I merely child as I am

dribble on my chalk

Ideas can send to sleep
those who choose other

Vaccines in our cupboards unused
For the malaria trip
That didn't happen

and we sleep soundly
with these
In our bathroom

Ideas can stay within your mind
I dont think their happy too
Remain behind
Or their expressions through

Better to let the nonsence out
So others laugh at it to

Some laughter can be planned for years
Some laughter you dont want and doubt
Some laughter is cruellla
Some is heaven sent

But in the nicest sense

I think all poets

In their minds

are bent

Dave

My thoughts exactly, Dave!

Liked this Dave...made me smile...

All poets are a little extraordinary...huh?
Made me think of a fresh comment...wisdom is such a jewel.  Good one.
