Seconds are all that time has to give
But minutes were needed in order to live
Past hours to trade for just one hour more
To know days were squandered, not knowing what for
Weeks that passed without being found
Months it took to be dug from the ground
Years have gone by, abandoning the mind
The decades lived, one can never rewind
Centuries to pass until all is forgotten
Millennium arrives and...
a new life is begotten
