Your image raced,
through my mind.
my blood quickened,
the smile's kind.

My senses bored,
To be selective,
As hunger pain,
Makes me aggressive.

Scripting the signs,
Rhyme by moonlight,
I will Euripides,
To recall the sight.

Jason, I thank you for leaving your comments on my poem and for directing me to this one of yours.

I enjoyed the read...I love the short ones with a meaning that brings memories about.

Nicely done.
