I'm lost in this cloud of smoke
Walking blind never looking behind
Waiting for my star to shine.

As each year slips into the past
It's gone forever can't get it back.

Trying to live my life walking
On the right path.

It ain't easy with the devil wispering
Take another toke as the room turns
Into a cloud of smoke.

You are so right passing shadows it isn't easy but it can be done if you want it bad enough. shimty72 I am glad you enjoyed my post. Paul thank you for your nice reply, I've had some time to read a few of your post and I'd like to say I enjoyed reading everyone so far. Hello Jennifer thank you for the sweet reply and I look forward to reading some of your stuff here in Passions Poetry.
