Thirst
Two days
where am I?
Is this the promised land?
Sun
water?

Night
coyotes lull the moon
the moon shows
this way, this way,
death is looming, circling the sky.

A shot!

Run,
My skin recoils
it hears the wind of death
grazing, scratching
searing the sky
the ¡crack!

Hide
this cave may be
the dogs bark
the shouting.
time
         heart
                       stop.
I ask me why?
is hunger a crime?

Where are you?
I can´t understand

They find my shadow
the shooting resounds
echoes in the belly,

They find this waste
not a man, game.

They find nothing
only this ghost,
shadow of their own fear.
