Holden to Ford Road
[Michigan]
15 August 2005

Hand in hand
next to each other
travelling along Ford road
Holden to hope
sister and brother
sharing burden of load

The major and the general
strutting their stuff
Even when there were
those moments to battle tough

This guy and a girl
young and old
A love in friendship
purchased in heart
and certainty not sold

Hand in hand
metaphor or not
travelling along Ford Road
Holden together
sister and brother
in mission and abode

“for Meaghan”

“Nevertheless I am continually with thee:
thou hast holden me by my right hand.”
Psalms 73: 23 KJV
