The Laws of Our Land

The inaction of Members of Congress
to enact reasonable immigration laws
have made it more desirable, and easier
to enter this Country illegally, then legally.

Those that choose the easy way, not only
reveal a lack of consideration for those
that patiently navigate the system in
the legal way, but they also reveal a
complete disrespect for the laws of our land.

that's a tough subject James.

I have difficulty with the people coming over here, legally or illegally. I am not a bdd person, but it's hard to find a job here now with all these folks doing work for minimum wage (sometimes they just get beer and pizza and they're happy too)

and thing is, I can't communicate with them either...it's hard in my line of work. I don't really feel like I can effectively learn another language at this point in my life either.

I don't really want to get going off into a rant here, but did want to say "good write"

Thanks for responding passing...the Congress are debating the immigration laws or should I say the lack of immigration laws at this moment.   To me, anyone that chooses to enter our Country illegally is an undesirable...James

I liked it :-)
It is hard for me to have an opionen about this though, since I don't know much about your immigration situation. I have met people whose lives were no better than a beaten dogs. I have also met people that only wanted the money our government provides. These are not the ones I welcome.

I agree 100% with you James
Those people who enter this country
Illegally don't have any respect and for that we should get rid of them!!!
I have lived in Mexico and they have the same laws as we do. To work in Mexico you must get a work visa (green card). An American can not own land in Mexico. If they own do it is in A mexicans name. Now show us Americans the same respect...

Thank you Mariae, Debo and BROTHER JOHN for the responses.   I am disturbed by the inaction of our Congress to support the laws of our land.   The important question facing our Nation right now, is are we a Nation of laws.  Yes or No....And then we have the President making a foolish statement that we should have compassion for immigrants.  I have always had compassion for those immigrants that wish to enter our Country the legal way but have none for lawbreakers...James
