Spirits

Spirits play in swirling water
Where all you see are vague distortions
Partial phantoms making mortar
Lovely moving swirls in torsions

They bring to life a mind of scheme
And here I enter in a world
That takes me to a land of dream
An Eden’s field new life unfurled

To run and dance the rippling pour
In laps that roll in ecstasy
The in and out of evermore
A dance into eternity

Absorbed into the fabrics lace
I am a portion of the sight
I live a life of unknown grace
And act the fabrics living light

There lies my Eden’s living flow
The only Eden that I know

Dear Seymour,

Thanks for this writing.  The pictures added by the two readers are awesome.  I have a question as to the line: "I live a life of unknown grace."  Is this your grace or whose?  Too, if it is unknown, is this not a contradiction?  I don't know myself.  This may be a way to express yourself, poetically.  Please comment more on this if you could.  Thanks for the beauty in this poem.

"Spirits play in swirling water"

Your spirit, dear Sy, plays where it will. This one is a beauty.
