For PdV's Challenge

I picked 20 which sort of expands on miabugs poem called "Flower." I used her last line for my title.

Miabug's Flower

A Flower Starts To Sing

In my hand a flower lays
To ignite a song within,
Causing me to smile so wide
It almost breaks into a grin.

Is there fragrance in the petals?
Dew on the leaves so rich and green?
This is the most beautiful thing
I think that I have ever seen.

I wind its tiny key anticipating
The song it will play quite soon.
Then hear Alice in Wonderland’s flowers
Singing ~ "On A Golden Afternoon."

Very enjoyable poem here, Sharon!  Makes me want to go out tonight and bask in the fragrance of the night blooming jasmine in our courtyard.   ....jo

I'm enchanted with your story and you posted such perfect illustration for it, too. This makes me think how magic music boxes are, and certainly, the story of Alice in Wonderland.  This drew me right in!  Very sweet!

Awww that was so beautiful!!
It's a special feeling to see someone sort of follow up on something I wrote. I am happy you found it inspiring!

Love the poem and the picture...
