I hurt the one I truly love And that¡¯s the saddest part My actions and the questions asked Hurt her precious heart I¡¯d never hurt the one I love so dear The pain would belong to me ¡®Cause I would be the one to suffer It¡¯s very plain to see The heartache and the pain endured Is a test of one¡¯s true love One can only ask for help And guidance from above. So God I¡¯m asking you on my knees Please hear my lonely plea I need your help and I¡¯m begging you Bring back my love to me The lonely nights the empty days The continuous endless tears I¡¯ll try my best to make her proud of me And I¡¯m hoping her heart hears This lover¡¯s prayer from inside my heart I¡¯m reaching for her now I want to make this up to her If only I knew how So God I¡¯m asking what to do To mend her hurting heart I¡¯ll do whatever you decide Just tell me where to start I love this woman deeply Without her it¡¯s an empty life Please help me stop her hurting And soon become my wife |
