In A Bubble

For quite some time now
I had put my heart in a Bubble
Allowing it feel for no one

But mainly to keep it out of trouble
At times, like a child sneaking out the window
My heart snuck out, allowing its self to be touched
It also wanted to feel, but it wasn’t meant to be
I had given up,
Thinking Destiny would never come to me

The day she made her presence known
I hadn’t noticed her
I spoke two words “I’m Shy” was what I said
She spoke two words “You Are?” then sped away
What I thought were words blowing in the wind
Turned out to be the words that broke the Bubble
That same day Destiny found me,
She came to me, she touched me
I do not know if she is here to stay
But she sure makes me feel good today

For quite some time now
I had put my heart in a Bubble
Allowing it to feel for no one

You have taken it out of its confines
I know this time it will not get in trouble
Your gentle touch your sweet caress
Has broken the Bubble
