There once was a Great King who had many sheep.
The sheep were of various colors and breeds.
With a variety of preferences concerning their keep...
But the King kept each in accord with it's needs.

Some loved ivy, some clover.  Some valleys, some hills.
Some foraged and some ate from hand.
Some ate only the grain that came from the King's mills.
The sheep were spread throughout the great land.

The Great King had such love for his many sheep
that he entrusted their care to his son.
The Shepherd Prince would be in charge of their keep.
He knew that the Prince would care for each one.

The King said to the Prince, " Sow my finest seed."
"Plough the earth and channel streams"
"Bring forth a place where they all may feed".
"A land more glorious than their dreams."

"Let them know the love of their Master."
"Gather every parent, son and daughter."
"Bring them to my greenest pasture."
"Let them drink my sweetest water."

"There is another kingdom...where another reigns."
"I see that some of my sheep have strayed."
"There, they are kept in cages and chains."
"Go !      Tell them... Be not afraid !"

" I will not allow for even one to be lost."
"Bring them back to me...both great and small."
"It matters not how great the cost."
Pay the highest price...for them ALL."

The Prince broke the soil and the price was paid.
And the Prince unto the King declared...
"I followed all the plans you laid."

"There is a place... I have prepared."

Now...
I ask that you ask...
within yourself....
If you were the Prince....
What would you do?
If you had paid the highest price for   ALL....
Would you settle for just a few?

Would you just accept the ones who came...
when you opened the gate and gave a shout....
or would you...
even if it caused them pain...
find ways to ....drive them out ?
