The Sacred Art of Finding A Girl

Well I wish I was dead!
Dying like a animal stuck in your cage
your heart is filled with black ugly rage
it brings me down
tear down this town
and start another on the ashes of my skin
no matter the weather, I can never win

My tao is out the window
street know-how's got so far to go
and there's no place like the underworld
and nothing compares to the sacred art of finding a girl

True love's only in my head
I curse the day that brought you to me
my heart is filled with demons breaking free
they hunt me down
there's no sanctuary to be found
so stop killing my soft rose petal dreams
there's more to this insanity than it seems

Her smile is all I've ever known
a religion hinging on the warmth in her bones
and evolution in the way her mouth curls
but oh god, it's got nothin' on the sacred art of finding a girl

Afraid of the light, not the dark
there's a dead animal in the carpark
ah, somebody do something!
I'm faking it like a cubic zirconia ring
for her, but the night's a blur
and yeah well, I've lost her in the crowd
she's probably hanging on the guys
like the sun behind the clouds
I hope every one of them dies
a horrible death,
crushed by the monolith,
those brainless apes by her side
and forever I will ride the razor-sharp riptide
for her

True love's like a serial killer
I die every night I don't feel her right next to me
my mind is filled with so many lines to sing
the melody is blue
and the words are as pretty as you
so stop killing my dream-like dreams tonight
there's more to this boy than his harmless bite

Ah, but there's no place really,
nowhere to call my perfect world
it's fun to feel the feelings inside me
almost as fun as the sacred art of finding a girl
