Did you see the morning sky?
Orange and red hues colliding on the horizon.
Awe, tranqulity time stood still as I drove
On this early April morning
A spring sunrise.

Did you see the western evening sky?
A setting star imbued with violet and crimson swirls
My eyes grew large, wistfully contemplating
the power of nature
a summer's sunset.

Silent darkness illuminated by fiery pinpoints.
The lucidity of the early AMs draws me out to my porch
I can't help but smile as I inhale the sweet smoke of cancer
and I gaze up at the cosmos.
Enjoying the beauty of simplicity on this incandescent night.

And the heavens smiled...
while I wept tears of joy
I was high on reverment
among other things
grinning widely, wildly
uncontrollably
invoked by things not created by man
and the heavens smiled...

I can not tell you the times that just looking about me brings a tear to my eye.  We are lucky indeed to be so blessed by nature's workmanship.

A beautiful look at the world, thank you I enjoyed this very much.

Jack, I like looking through your eye...for you've capture those moments where I find myself thinking, but unable to put it to words.

Almost.  Thank you!

thanks for the warm words     too often we get caught up in our material desires or worldly concerns and we forget to admire nature's fine workmanship (like Mysteria so fittingly put it)

Sunshine - thanks for the compliment, you've made me feel welcome here

Not only do the heavens smile ~ but so does your appreciative soul.

...and now I am smiling at you.

You captured the overwhelming joy one can experience when beholding nature's beauty!

I was exhilarated and flooded with the beauty of your words, of nature, and of your unadulterated appreciation of these gifts that are there but for the looking!

I thoroughly enjoyed this reading experience!

Keep your eye on the sky!

Earth Angel, thanks for the comments and observations.  I hope my eyes never tire of looking at the nighttime sky. =)
