What was missing
now taps
upon their shoulders
in easter bonnet colors,
while the glory of the green
bursts centerstage
amid the winter shadow,

and all upon them
that births the season
will gift the meadow
with a sugar coating
of their soul's possession,

and love is blinking,
in its cradle
of a peek a boo dream,
along my window
as life is falling,

you winked at me once,
boy of blue,

but never came
round again,

o sparrows on sycamores,
the morning widens,

but i've grown pale

for this boy of blue.

I understood the paling..but it doesn't last.  We don't give ourselves enough credit sometimes.

I always love the way you say the things you say.

"the morning widens"

beautiful description, and yanno?

I always feel sad when that happens.

I guess I miss the color show of dawn...

I love it all, Michelle, but
especially this part....
"a peek a boo dream"!! Love it!!
