Where the child can be free

0 posted 2006-04-17 01:46 AM

I found this poem hiding in the corner of my sent and saved email and it stirred up so many encoded painful  memories.  Memories of what it's about, the time it's from, and the desperation it was written out of.  I was so young and so unaware...

Unwanted Wishes

1. Soon you may be in my Hands
7. Evermore imagining Existing sands
2. Unnoticed by the Little world around
6. Death Pertains to unsturdy ground
3. Inside My heart I feel the rust
5. In the Everlasting faded dust

4. Captured time forever blind

This is such a unique concept for a poem. I absolutely love it.

Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream by night.

I had fun with the numbers and re-aligning the lines, in different concepts.  Neat!
