  Good Friday

Shame
Only one day
Set aside in reverence
Remembering He,
Who on a Friday long ago
Died to set us all free.

It wasn't rusty nails
Holding him fast,
Just pure love ~
Spread it in his name.

For all of you that do honor him this day.

For those of you that don't, here is a link if you wish to know more of the origin of this important Christian day. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Friday

Carpe' Diem
and
God Bless You All

Though I'm a Toerag..and most would believe I'm an irreverent kinda guy....but, I am not...I'm truly the epitome of a sinner...the worst kind...but, this is a day that all believers should think...give thanks.  If you're not a believer, if you're of a different religion...or, even an atheist....what have you got to lose to just give thanks for what you have?....well done Misty...

Especially during these trying times I find more and more folks are going back to basics and turning to whatever they believe in for support.  They are turning their troubles over to a higher power to help them carry, and that is not a bad thing at all.

Happy Easter to you all and thank you for reading.

Oh, and Toerag you are a much better man than you would ever make out, so there! ')

Thank you Mysteria.  What you say in the poem is so very true and it hurts on His behalf.  What you said in your response is also very true.  Thank you very much for this.  Your 2nd and 3rd graphic only appeared for me as a little cross (probably something to do with my laptop's memory).  Please tell me what they were, so that I can enjoy them by description.

Although I am a believer, I will go into your link anyway, because I like to learn what I didn't know and/or re-inforce what I already do.  So thanks for that too.

Hi again, and OwlSA they were just tiny rotating crosses         thank you for reading.

Dixiegirl - Happy Easter

Paul - Just open an account at http://photobucket.com/  and store the graphics you want to link to there.  When you find some you like store them on your computer, then upload them from your computer to photobucket.  The links for your pictures show below each graphic at photobucket.  Then, just copy the link to here.   See Ron's instructions in the "Member's Area/Help for uploading graphics.  Go inside anybody's post here that uses photobucket to get the idea.         and Happy Easter.
