Today I'll pull the shades and bolt the door. Today I dont want to see the sun shine anymore. Let the world go on without me I don't want to play. All of you can share my yesterday. Today daylight burns and the night dragged on. Today I curse the moon and damn the dawn. Today there was just no way that I could face the rising sun. Ties that bind have come undone. It's not a good day for my mind. I've searched every soul and could not find a single one who understood the visions in my head or ever heard a word I said. I'm not even sure if thats the deal. But today it surely is the way I feel. It's not some tragic moment. There's no doubt that I will cope. I just need a little time to pout and mope. Today I'm isolated and alone. Today my heart is just a heavy stone. Today I'm weary, teary, and withdrawn. Today... World...please pretend I'm gone. Today is not a good day for my mind. Let the world go on without me. I dont want to play. All of you can share my yesterday. Take care and share my yesterday. |

This is exactly how I feel today, Uriah. Sorry to hear you do too. The answer is to hug your animals. If you don't have any, hug somebody else's animals. They listen to every single word, they understand and will reply in a way that will make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Friendly meeows and woofs from Tigger, my tabby and Daisy, my little Maltese poodle and tu-whit tu-whoos from me. - Owl |

"I just need a little time to pout and mope." ~ and you doing just that! ~ and very well, indeed. XO, we are all entitled! I too, shun the sun and am no fun at times!
