I am thinking of a poem... a poem about the forehead of morning...

have it in my mind;

about:
how slickness is hope...

how the burn of a frozen promise, never leaves.

Then,

for no good reason that I can see,
you come to mind.

Oh, God, how you come!!!

I

Blushing...

much to early for me!
Your granite eyes, hard
as an August afternoon, gives way and

you spear my secret thoughts...
Later,
rinsing the poetry from my mouth, and, out, OUT, onto the sheets...

the...

sacred words and sacred family come to mind,  trusted and misquoted, are, they all after all.... trivial?

Yet, as you say,

wet sheets held Pharaohs.

Travail, the pains of childbirth , of how many do understand.

Genesis 35: 16 KJV
"And they journeyed from Beth-el; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath:
and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour."

Genesis 38: 27 KJV
"And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb."

Genesis 38: 28 KJV
"And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand:
and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first."

While other meanings do still refer to a similar way of pain.
