Condensed

Paintings of singular call
Harangue and hang and brood my wall
Points of paint induced in meld
Produced while my breath was held

Brought to a myopic bed
Mental gold with pigments lead
Colors brought to symbols light
Dimensions of hyper sight

Tender phantoms caught in draw
Brushed and fixed in pigments store
Caught and held in final goal
Gems implanted by my soul

To me they are my total cry
Dramatic as a Van Gogh sky
Reinforced in poets rhyme
Memories of my loves and time

Post in boast my soul in sprawl
These ghosts that hang upon the wall

Sy,

But what if the picture never comes out?  I just wrote one about the need to portray my father before he died, yet I didn't have the skill.  I'm trying to think of the title...  "Too Much for the Untrained Eye".  Sure wish my walls weren't bare!  I'm trying to do something about it finally, hoping to sketch the sparks of memory. In this, I'm glad you were fortunate.  I very, very much liked your poem and will file it away.  Thank you.

And it's such a lovely cry
with poems and your Van Gogh sky
I makes all our hearts fly
to read your words dear Sir Sy

or something like that...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, you have a way with rhyme

Sey, you've gone and done it again,
left me sighing at the beautiful artistry of your words.  Hugs dear man.
