Between My Thoughts I kiss the memory tonight as you lay between my thoughts. Covered by your warmth, dreams of tomorrow take me to sleep. I count the many ways you touch my heart, the softness of your whispered words, the treasured hold of arms that surround, eyes that reach and pull me into their depths. Lonely, I shall never be, as long as you lay between my nakedthoughts... Remember These? When you smile at me with sight Caressing me in fading light Craving touches, gentle love Needed words, your guidance of. Each morning fills my senses so Sighing, warming in the glow Released by you in waves to find My hopes of real, those dreams of mind. As daytime swirls to eve's decline I hold your hand as you hold mine In loving arms and lips of kiss Comforting in nighttime bliss. Remember these, the words once shared In silent speak in echo's lair My favorite lines will end my thoughts In velvet strappings, yours, I'm caught. "Till sleep takes talk, to dreams light You slip to dream, my day's last sight." M (reminiscing just because) "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |
