Absence

My puppeteer has lost her way
Today I sit and wait the day
The sun has chased away the night
But light alone can’t spirits bright

The sun is passing over head
My person feels the weight of lead
I cannot dance and play romance
Without my puppeteers enhance

She touches me and pulls my strings
And makes me do all sorts of things
To interact like life alive
Without her touch I can’t survive

My puppeteer has lost her way
And gloom has shadowed up my day
The sun is up but I can’t run
Without her touch there’s nothing done

So if you see my puppeteer
Pease tell her I am waiting here

What a wonderful poem Sy. I hope your puppeteer returns soon. I will watch for her.

To heck with a puppeteer,
Find yourself a real girl.
Put on your dancing shoes
Take here for a whirl!

Hey! That will cheer you
I just know that it will.
Use that pile of wood and string
To re-build a window sill.

Thank you sweety.

1slick_lady,
That's true.

Sharon,
Good suggestion but right now I have my hands full.
