A Spring Time’s Breeze

A warm spring’s wind rustles through the piney woods
And it reminds me of a time with you.
A time of banter about the future, comforting times…

A time when the days were there just for us
A time for exploring our meanings to be together
A time we took to look deep into each other’s soul…

A time now forgotten, lost in these piney woods
A fragrance of the trees, carried on the wings
Of this spring time’s breeze…

JL, I'm sending huggies right over to Texas...this was beautifully bittersweet, made me sad though, for you.  Love to ya cowboy...wishing you a fine life, no matter where it leads you...a wonderfully rich poet as yourself, deserves all that life has to offer.  Thank you for your continued support and friendship...

I was suffused with so much emotion as I read your words. Beautifully and vividly expressed!

Lovely beyond words!

Pretty write JL...
The pines never lose things, they collect what is good, and scent the world with it.

You brought yesteryear into tomorrow...
and that is not easily done.

Thank you for this, JL...it was just right
for the evening spring breeze.

You have a way of transporting the reader-felt I was there!  A calming reminiscence...
Very much enjoyed.
