gypsy shoes walking a hemingway
gunslinger granola splashing the gravel
on a candy apple afternoon's asphalt

without a high noon's shadow
they are just the clouds again
and a thousand wet arrows

but my freckles will survive
the wounds are only water
that I will feed the towel hounds

when they whisper across my shoulders
and surround my narrows
like a lover wanting more

just moments after their fantasy

in-credable verbage...I was right there with you, holding your hand, pulling you over each and every puddle...then we found a shoe shine...my scarf...hmmmm, and I loved that scarf, but it was a good cause...it's raining here to D...but not nearly compared to what your getting.  Heard on the news this morning, hurricane season..shiiisssh, thats a dirty word, is just around the corner, and they are of course, predicting another active one.  God bless you all out there on the coast...even with the rain, there is still romance and great beauty within your state...especially Rt. 1....

Hugs and enjoyed you this early morning.

You can even personalize heavy dew.

Good soggy morning to ya, Sir!

PLEASE send the heavy clouds this way!

What delight!  Candy apple afternoons, even when the clouds are too heavy yet to bare the sun.  Silver arrows and angel kisses compete like Cupid and Campaspe in your poem.  No wonder you are puddlejumping in wingtips!

Little grins.  Hemingway would never stand for it!
