In New Zealand Amongst the Ancient Trees

Wandering on a fine
Autumnal morn.
Watching the leaves
Of the tree’s ejaculating
In the gentle breeze.
I find myself
Aching in the daylight,
For a night moon, shining
With inquisitive ecstasy
Slowly rolling into
A morning, weeping
Red fire and laughter
Of the nights pleasures.
Such are the thoughts
Of your soft intrusion
On the pillow of my mind.

Such thoughts are beautiful!  May you find your "night moon".

Love your poem...but, just a warning.

I've had poems REMOVED for using the "E" word...

But, maybe they will let you slide...I'm not too popular round herabouts...

Great Job.....

still...watch that "ejaculating" word...it might turn someone on!!!!!

interesting thoughts and a great way of expressing night turning to day.  I especially liked the ending.

You have very interesting trees down your way!  Would they grow in a northern climate? lol

Sorry, my naughty mind went on a wild tangent. This was lovely poem. I enjoyed reading it. ~ perhaps a little bit tooo much! Flirty 2

bubblesleave,

Perhaps your contextual use was of a different calibre. Thank you for your response.

Earth Angel,

I am sure the trees would grow in any hemisphere. May your tangent always go awry. Thank you for the read.

Maureen,

Ones thoughts are always wandering. Mine were with you on hearing of your loss.

The poem was lovely. I am not a visual person, so the picture has me confuzzled!
