of Depression

In the morning light
After walking streets all night,
It is best
Just to rest
Where she can remain alone
So she sits like stone,
As thoughts swirl
And mists curl
Upward to burn in sunlight
Ending the twilight.

Everything burns
As a fading hope still yearns
For normal,
A young girl
Without burdens she must bare
And to have some care,
Some giving,
Back living
To a time so long before,
To be there once more.

There's reality,
A new life without beauty,
Where it's worse
Than a curse
And no dreaming makes it go;
It just life you know
Where the gain
Is just pain,
Will she be swallowed by lies
Before next sunrise?

Gloom
