The Doubting Flight

My armor buckles in and out
From the blows of crippling doubt
My lance is blunted from the wall
That blinding mass of overall

I cannot leap the chasm I’m
Nor cut the bars of passing time
I wilt each day a flowers bloom
And melt like wax into the gloom

The truth is like a rivers flow
The rapids smash what ere I know
And I am cast upon a beach
To build once more a ship to breach

This time I’ll sail the mornings hew
And there become a drop of dew
To touch the essence of the day
And there to stay and make my way

Into this mass of overall and
There I’ll finally touch you all

Much enjoyed this morning's pearls of wisdom.
Time for tea?
