No matter
The weather
Or other exteriors
The whole world
However rational
Will have no power . . .

Today at some time
When it and I fail control
A star will appear
And its light will shine

And I will turn
And see you
So happily beside me
A sudden couple together
In the warm green air

Your long brown hair
Falling like water
Over slender shoulders
Those blue eyes closed
That gaunt face raised

Indifferent
To how or why . . .
Regardless of sorrows

Beaming with joy
In the soft summer rain
