Love Is

Love is the breaking of the dawn,
with it's light comes a song.
Love's colors paint the sky,
it's wings lift mortal spirits high.
Love rejoices in the giving,
tis breath to the soul,
with love comes living.

Love is a fire on a chill night,
with embers glowing warm and bright.
Though rain or ice or snow may fall,
the fire of love conquors all.

Love is deep and wide,
a mothers milk, a warriors sword,
an ocean vastly unexplored.
What wonders must await love's sons and daughters,
who sail upon her uncharted waters!

Love casts out all fear and shame.
Love needs no one to blame.
The companions of love are hope, faith, and trust.
Love forgives and love is just.

Love is...

It is often said, that love cannot be defined. You, my friend, just did! ~ and ever so poetically! I enjoy your writing, Steven, it is as if you share a part of your soul with your readers.

Love is the catalyst of Life. Without it, it's mere existence.

Well done.
