From the hill
Some things
Look kind of small

At this distance
The ones you thought
You couldn’t live without
Diminish over time

They reappear
A little less each day
And after so many years

If you recall at all
It’s only to wonder why or how
You could have lived
To be the fool

Yes, I think I'm at that stage but I still am glad that I was "the fool" because I was the best fool that I could possibly be.  Anything after that is either up or down and we maybe swing according to whim.
