Drowning in Her Soul

16 December 2005

Why was this
have I been there before
Was it yesterday
or tomorrow once more

Of her love
that was not love
Of her feelings
all in a name

For I know
but one answer
That being in her
this quest was not the same

Why do I love her
when I do not
When today or maybe tomorrow
in yesterday she will not be forgot

“Perhaps the feelings that we experience when we are in love represent
a normal state. Being in love shows a person who he should be.”
Anton Chekhov (1860 - 1904)
Russian dramatist and short story author
