‘Sateen's’ Dream

27 February 2005


A child’s loss
is a mother’s nightmare
Oh where oh where
has heaven gone

To kneel and pray
with voice infinite to God
Oh why oh why
has away heaven gone

This place of opposition
captured inside a faith of belief
Where by choice an answer
is but compensation in relief

Such sadness - such grief
as to why the question had to be asked
Line upon line - precept upon precept
from the first line in relation to the last


“For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept;
line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:”
