Sometimes
I wonder if
it is a waste
when concern
may not matter
except in your own mind.

When
first feelings
become last thoughts
and last thoughts become
lost in solitude
once again.

Those moments are made to fill a void - and they do it well.  They are just as necessary as the ones that send us running on the threadmills of our minds I think.  Great work M.

A nice element of thoughts
brief - yet poetic in presentation

a poet who cares

“last thoughts become
lost in solitude”

Sometimes we place our self-expectations above the realm of reach, anyone’s reach.
I don’t think lost in solitude is so bad.  Self-reflection can be a humbling experience, but there is always a brighter day ahead.  Enjoyed the read.

Sweetie...

lately, nothing has gone as I expected,
nor wanted.  So I understand the swing
of this very well.

But here are to brighter days...

We are in spring, y'know...

Maureen...The need for concern is natural for our hearts to heal and survive.
Enjoyed the read...Paul
